1. Information We Collect

Fittrexx collects the following information to provide and improve our fitness coaching service:

Account information: email address, display name, and password (hashed)
Profile data: height, weight, fitness goals, experience level, and equipment access
Workout logs: exercises performed, sets, reps, weights, and duration
Meal logs: food descriptions, photos (processed for nutritional analysis, not stored), and macro estimates
Health data: steps, heart rate, calories, and sleep data when you connect Apple Health or Google Fit
Usage data: app interactions and feature usage for improvement purposes

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide personalized AI-powered fitness coaching and meal analysis
To track your workout progress and nutrition goals
To sync health data from connected wearable devices
To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
To improve our AI models and app features
To communicate important service updates

3. AI & Photo Processing

When you use our meal scanning or equipment detection features, photos are sent to our AI service (powered by Anthropic Claude) for analysis. Photos are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers. The AI generates nutritional estimates and equipment recommendations based on the image content.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Stripe: for payment processing
Anthropic: for AI-powered analysis (photos and text prompts)
Neon (PostgreSQL): for secure data storage
Vercel: for application hosting
Zoom & Microsoft: for booking integration (if you use coaching sessions)

5. Health Data

Health data from Apple Health or Google Fit is used exclusively within the app to display your fitness metrics and provide personalized coaching. We do not share health data with third parties or use it for advertising. You can disconnect health integrations at any time in Settings.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords (scrypt), and signed authentication tokens (JWT). Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request account deletion from the Settings screen, which will permanently remove all your personal data, workout logs, and meal logs within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request data deletion
Export your data
Withdraw consent for optional data processing

9. Children's Privacy

Fittrexx is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
